Celebrating Eid !!

After about 25 day fasting , it is approaching the month of syawal. Well for this year my family and i are going to celebrate Eid overhere, its a whole new experience for us and quite exciting :). However , at the same time I do miss my relatives and my friend .


As we approach towards the Eid festival , my mom has already busy decorating our house and making raya cookies .









The most exciting part is my grandparent are coming visit us in a few days time. At least one of my closest relatives are celebrating the Eid festival with us this year.



A few days ago my father send our family photo for the utusan salam perantauan. Suprisingly our photo got picked and it was post in the website and the paper:))

Unforgettable holiday :)

In the beginning of this holiday , i felt like this holiday is going to be like forever but now it only felt like a blink of an eye . I can't believe how fast times fly . Therefore , for this post i am going to write a short story about my holiday :).

Firstly, right at the beggining of the holiday my family and i went to Lake District




Then on the second day we went to Lego land in Windsor . It was very enjoying .This is the picture of my sister standing beside the LEGO statue.

Then on the 8th of August , is the day i made this blog . well, at first my blog was afifsjourney but then i change it to afifslife due to some technical problem. As you guys might already know this blog is link with google adsense . Everytime a visitor click on the ads on this blog i earned a few money .



This is me updating my blog. To reach 30 pound was a tremendous achievement for me :)

The best thing about this month is my Grand parents is coming . Cant wait for their arrival. Plus celebrating my mums and dad birthday !!! including one of my special friend :)

Overall its been a unforgettable holiday for me . lots of ups and down . I learn a lot of stuff which i had not done before. I am certainly looking forward towards the next summer holiday :).  Thank you for reading and dont forget to click on the ads :)

Malaysia truly Asia !

Back in Malaysia , the most common place the my family and i visited are Malacca and Langkawi. I have been there for like more than 20 times but the excitement are not always the same . Actually, It is quite an interesting place to visit . Out of these two I like Malacca because there are lots of historical buildings in the city because the place has once been ruled by the dutch and Portuguese . On of the main attraction is Kota A'famosa ,million of people visited every year.




The main shopping center in Malacca is called "Dataran Pahlawan".



Malacca are also places that are full of cuisine such as : The delicious Satay with Ketupat (rice cake)


I love Malacca so much because the place are filled so many people with various types of culture.

My very own wonders of the world

In 2006 , me and family went to Dubai for our school holidays. We arrived there in the afternoon after along journey. It was so hot in the afternoon but cold at night. Over there , we stayed at a hotel called Dusit Dubai, at that time it was my first time I went to a 5star hotel. The Arabic people were very kind and helpful.We manage to go to Ski Dubai , i can't believe that in the middle of a hot city there is a big refrigerator. Unfortunately, i was too young at that time so i didn't get to ski but i manage to sledge with my brother.At that night we went to roof top , where the swimming pool are located . The scenery were spectacular with all skyscrapers lighting the city at night.

I also went to pray at a mosque near the hotel that we stayed, the mosque was made from pure limestone, it was a very big mosque.

It was really an unforgettable moments for me . I hope i can visit Dubai again in the future .

What tiring day !!

Me and my family went to the AstroTurf in Lancaster university without our mum because she was cooking for our dinner at home. Me and my brother took different types of video clips on football tricks which i will post it soon. It was sunny and windy day but overall I enjoyed playing football with my brother although we were fasting.

Proud of myself

Since I came to United Kingdom I have learn so many stuff that i couldn't get a chance to learn in my previous schools such as system control , Environmental science and many more followed by lots of sports award :) . I have got to admit that the level of studies of over here is far more better than in Malaysia . However , I am not writing this post to criticist which side is better in education but  its just my opinion .At the same time , i also miss my best friend in Malaysia , but i know soon or rather later I'll meet them again.This is one of the academic award that I got .

I love snow but I hate the freezing condition

I love snowy conditions because the last winter , we had a lot of fun sledging in the evening. However , things i hate about when there is snow is the cold weather . I easy get cold and asthmatic problems in that type of weather. The worst part clod weathers getting to bath in the morning , it is so cold in the morning and sometimes i have to switch the heater in the toilet just to warm myself. The road so slippery winter , i slip quite a lot but only minor injuries . my twin sister usually cannot sleep at night because of "winter bark " . Although ,  there are lots problem in wintery weather but I still like snowy conditions . Thank you for reading .

Usra' in Uk a.k.a people gathered together :)

In UK our Malaysian society are based in huge groups called UMNO not the usual UMNO in Malaysia . So the Malaysian community in Lancaster will invite every Malaysian in Lancaster to gather together . The purpose of the group is to share our experience with all the Malaysian's . We call Usra'a because it unites people together. I thoroughly, enjoy it because at the same time we get to share our experience with each other . Thank you for reading .

Failure is not my option but its just natural .

All of us hate so much to lose , failed and to loss something . However, the presence super rich people don't treat failure as we do , where about they will use it as a new path for them to reach for the success . In other words they'll learn from the mistakes that they've done. In my case , i have failed for numerous numbers of occasion such as bad result in my examination , lose football competition and many more . Although, i am a bit stubborn because sometimes i kept repeating the mistakes over and over again but there's only thing that can't be vanish out of me , which is the desire for me to keep going on . A bit worrying :((

My sister Aisyah , is almost 2 years old . However, she still can't talk . It is quiet frustrating because i have talk simple words to her but she is still unable to talk . Although , she cannot talk but she can point to stuff that she wants , that's a huge relief for me at least she knows how point to stuff that she wants.If you guys have suggestion or questions please leave it in the chat area. Alternatives way to improve my english grammar

My family and my teachers had always given me advises about reading more books in order for me to improve my grammar and vocabulary . However, i tend to get boring readings books without pictures, i prefer to read books about facts not story or novel. I do read some books but definitely not story books, i only read books that can inspire me such as the story of Richard branson. So i figured out other ways to improve my grammar which making blog in English. I know i use a lot of slang but at the same time i am improving my grammars too. Thank you for reading :)))

My parents is my idol

"My parents are the best hope that i have", ya I've pick that quotes from hp7 part 1 haha . Only know i realized that how painful and laboriously our parents had raised us when were young because i myself with my brother had to take care of our little sister and its not as simple as it looks. Therefore , i try to avoid any arguments with mum and dad because its disrespectful, if i confront on this type situation i would just back off and ask for forgiveness . Well to be honest , i sometimes disobeyed my parents but i tried improve from it and dont do it again. Thanks for reading

Time is precious :)))

Today i am going to share with you guys about how precious time can be . Last Wednesday , i was seating playing games in the morning , after a few moments later i found out that it was already 5 in the evening it was like only in a blink of an eye. At that moment , i realize that how important and precious time is.Therefore, after that moment i started to set an target which is to spend my time wisely.Well playing games is not actually a big deal but when it comes to study it is really important for you to spend your studying time wisely. I myself has experience this type of situation not long ago but only a couple of weeks ago , i was to confidence that i can pass the test but eventually i failed.However, i didn't use failure as a barrier of me to stop studying , so I kept on studying and learn from the mistakes that i have done in the past. Thats all for now I hope you guys can use my experience as a boost of inspiration to keep studying , especially to my friend in Malaysia sitting for PMR examination in October. Fasting in uk

its already the fourth day of me fasting. The thing is i find it quiet easy to fast in UK compare to Malaysia ( no ofence at all) . Overhere i have to start fasting from approximately from 3.00am until 9:00 pm , elsewhere before in Malaysia, its from 4.45 am until 7.00 pm , which is a shorter period of time.

Fasting in UK is not a whole lot different from fasting in Malaysia because my mom is here with us so the dishes that she'll cook will always be the same.The only difference over here is the tarrawikh prayer , the atmosphere in the mosque is so difference because the majority of people pray over there is Pakistani's.

The stuff that i do the most on the summer holiday

I will usually play tennis with my brothers at the Lancaster  university , however, its fasting month right now . So i will spend the most of my time playing games or look after my sisters it is a bit challenging but i get used to it now.Its not the best activity to in the holidays but i just enjoyed doing it.

For this current summer holiday, i went to Lake district it was quiet fascinating to see the beautiful landscape of the northwest of England . As soon as we got there ,  we went to the lake aquarium . i saw a lots of  type species of fish inside there. Then we went on a train that took us from the entrance to the deep heart of the jungle .  I also managed to snap some picture during the 10 minutes journey .

By the way my kid brother Irfan nearly lost one side of his shoe which fell on to the tracks but my dad manage to call for the staff to secure it. :))))))))))))))))
